NEW Kiosk at the Park

Kiosk   KioskFinished

In the past weeks, the final touches and mounting of the Sequim Dog Park welcome sign were completed. The wonderful sign/art adorns the parking lot side of the Sequim Dog Park's kiosk.

The kiosk structure itself was built in February by Alex Skinner, an Eagle Scout with Troop #90, and organized as a community project in cooperation with the Sequim Parks Department.

So where is the famous local artist Tim Quinn's most recent masterpiece? At the Sequim Dog Park, located in Carrie Blake Park. WOOF!
Quin Sign

The kiosk's opposite side holds an enclosed bulletin board where Sequim Dog Park users can find useful information and notices of upcoming dog related events.

SMALL DOG PARK IN PORT TOWNSEND

Did you know that there is a small dog park in Port Townsend! It's just down Jackson, between Taft St and Roosevelt St cross Clallam St on Hudson, it's about a block or so down from Chetzemoka Park. It's tiny, compared to ours, but, it's a GREAT place to get your dog out for a run when you're in Port Townsend.
